well..... it could be saying that there was a storm that cracked the tree right in half!! but then after the storm, some little creature made use of it with that little hole in the middle. So maybe overall it's saying that even though your life gets destroyed, it can be used for the good of someone else! ..or something?? haha, good luck with that..I don't really know! :)
